iEvent theme uses separate Post type called “Portfolio” to create portfolios. there is also option to add portfolio category based.
Add Portfolio Category
Before creating the portfolio items its best to create the portfolio categories. Click on “Portfolio>Categories” to view the list of already existing categories.Hover on the category to get options to edit or delete an existing category.
To add a new category add the Name in the box and select the “Parent” if you wanted it to be subcategory else leave it as such .Add description in the description box and click on “Add New Field” to add a new category.

Add Portfolio
To Add a portfolio item . Click on the “Portfolio > Add New” in left menu or the “Add New” button on top of the Portfolio view page.

Add a title in the title box and description of the portfolio in the editor area. The portfolio also allows to select the category on the right .It has option to upload three featured images.
